Ms. Liu has drafted and prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in a variety of technical fields, such as organic and inorganic chemistry, polymers, applied chemistry, chemical engineering, and pharmaceuticals. In particular, she has excellent expertise in polymer materials, catalysts, coatings, adhesives, textiles, cosmetics, detergents and pharmaceutical compound.
Ms. Liu also provides legal services in patent search, patent re-examination and invalidation, patent infringement analysis, patent administrative proceedings, patent tort proceedings and other related IP related matters.
One of representative cases of CSPTAL ranking among China’s Top 10 law firms for patent administrative litigation in 2018-2019 is represented by Ms. Liu.
Ms. Liu obtained her B.S. degree in 1992 and M.S. degrees in 1996 from the Department of Chemistry, Peking University. She was admitted as a Patent Attorney in 2000 and joined CSPTAL in 2001. Prior to that, she had worked as a chemical engineer for five years in Beijing Research Institute of Chemical Industry, SINOPEC, and as a lecturer in Peking University for one year.
